We will engage in a cross-Pacific cooking competition that challenges our notion of our own respective awesomeness, Orianna is based in Beijing and Anna is based in San Diego.

The stage isn't entirely fair, but no one said this would be easy. We will find locals to taste test our food and share their experience with us for each challenge we create. The blog will also be peppered with cooking related side notes from each of our culinary experiences: pictures of new tools, cookbooks, other meals we make, or amazing meals we eat and so on.
The Challenge:
Every month we will agree on a challenge meal:
• 1 savory main course
• 1 dessert
We will each have to cook the meal at some point over the month and have our local judges share the experience of our awesomeness and argue over who won.
